It’s not just Foxtel and Austrar that is launching it’s new TV channels today.
the new and improved Audio Fidelity Database comes online today.
The website has now had it’s layout re-conformed to the rest of my website (no more frames, Yay!) , and has had additional pages (which had been submitted to me while I was in transit, but was unable to be added until now.)
Actually, if you were online between 4 PM and 5 PM yesterday, you would have got a preview of the site, as I was fixing a few bugs before I made the site officially “live”
After 5PM, I had changed the index page back to the “pre-launch” page once I completed my bugfix, but now the site is now officially live.
click on the link on my links area on the right, and let me know what you think. by contacting me at offrecord at brucelaing.com

- Audio Fidelity
For three decades (1954-1984) Audio Fidelity was the premier record label for audiophiles, originally under the guidance of Sidney Frey (where most of my rare stuff will come) and from late 1965 until 1984, Herman D. Gimbel.
The label is best known today for the companies sound effects records, but it's biggest claim to fame was...

- EMI Columbia label gallery coming in August
As it's a bit too late to include this month (due to other commitments, as well as starting to compile the images now), my next labels gallery will be coming in August
Just as it says on the label, I will be posting a gallery of Columbia Records labels that EMI used from the 1940's to...
- Info on charting singles and albums added to blog entries
Somethin' new has been added. ;)
Thanks to the book "The Australian Chart Book: 1970-1992", I am now able to give Australian chart info (when the single or LP entered the charts, the highest position it reached, and the number of weeks it was in) and will appear on future posts I make where I know...

- 12 Discs coming on Sunday
Just a reminder that my dozen LPs in the 12 discs of Christmas will start appearing on Sunday morning, every day at the same time (approximately 7:00 am) until the 24th of June.
I originally was going to do this in time for Christmas, and later on for the Christmas in July celebrations, but I decided...
- Major Labels galleries coming in June
It's that time of the month again...
Coming in June, I am posting two major label galleries. One will be for EMI's Parlophone label which (will be from the 1940's until the mid 1970s)
The second gallery will be for CBS records in Australia (and it's ancestor the Australian Record Company)
these will be coming soon....
- What’s coming up for the rest of this half of the year?
Coming up amongst other things during May and June I have a few things planned.
as you can see, I'm planning a labels gallery for 1970's label M7 and it's sucessor, 7 Records (the record label of the Seven Network from 1977 to 1982.)
for our friends in the northern hemisphere the other main news will sound...
